A “Gifted” weekend

Madam D came over yesterday for some work. She surprised me with a fantastic shirt, a card and a cute little teddy bear (little Madam D).

Couldn’t leave her home as all the roads leading to her place are in an horrible condition!!

We sang in the morning today for the vestation of a postulant at the Canossa Convent.
Wore the shirt she gave me for mass and I do look good in it :grin:
They invited us over for lunch. But, since James was had called a few of us over for lunch, I went to his place.

We also watched Dracula 2000. A rather cool movie with really hilarious sub-titles. :razz:

I got another birthday gift from U. Conrad and A. Anita, viz. a kurta. And since it is Independence day today and we were planning to wear Indian for evening mass, I was given my gift one day before my birthday. The kurta looks good and I got quite a few compliments:grin:

After mass, I picked up some Eclairs to be distributed at work tomorrow. My Dad’s mom was here when I got back and so spent a few minutes, before I went off to get my haircut. Got drenched in the rain on my way back from there.

Mom made biryani:smile: so dinner was great. Will be going off to bed soon. Tomorrow is the big day, though I shall be spending it at work…
