Ajay - On the Road called Life!

Had some free time and so watched 50 First Dates.

50 First Dates is a romantic comedy starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Wasn’t able to catch it in the theatres, however am glad I finally watched it.

Henry Roth (Sandler) is a veterinarian living in Hawaii who enjoys the company of vacationing women. He leaves the playboy life behind after he falls for Lucy (Barrymore), who suffers from short-term memory loss. Since she can never remember meeting him, Henry has to romance Lucy every single day and hope that she falls for him.

The movie was very cute and rather touching. Roth’s effort to convince Lucy every day of his love for her, remembering so well that she will just forget him the next day. Lucy wanting to set him free so that he can continue his life and how love triumphs in the end (remind you of a Bollywood movie

Jokes apart, the movie was fun and definitely a good Sunday afternoon movie. I needed something to cheer me up and the movie did that.
