Had upgraded to WordPress 1.5 as soon as it had released. I wasn’t very pleased with the default theme, but couldn’t do much since I didn’t have much time on my hands.
Finally got down to experimenting with it yesterday.
Here is a list of plugins currently being used on the site.
My main aim is to reduce spam and to ensure ease of use.
Next step: Customizing this theme and changing the entire look. Maybe on this weekend, if I can get some time.

You don’t need to use Google URI redirector with WordPress 1.5. WP1.5 uses rel=”nofollow” on comments which achieves the same effect.
