Alas, he is no more.
Pope John Paul II, the third longest-serving pontiff in history, has died at the age of 84. He expired in his private apartment at the Vatican at 2137 local time (1937 GMT) on Saturday, April 2, 2005.
Pope John Paul II

It seems like the end of an era. One can imaging how powerful and loved a person he has been as every single news channel covered him in the past few weeks.

The Pope had visited India in 1986 and then in 1999, which has been considered a very important event in our history.

Please pray for his soul and also pray that the Church be empowered by the Holy Spirit and be given the clarity to choose the next pontiff.
