Nice long weekend
Not really long, just two days but it was a very refreshing weekend. Probably because I had a good amount of sleep.
Had choir practice on Friday evening as usual.
Awoke at 9am on Saturday morning. Had to meet Madam C at 10, but postponed it to 10.15.
Picked her up and went to Fun Republic to catch the morning show of Miss Congeniality 2.
Madam C had to wear the helmet and she sure looked very cute in it
(should have taken a pic)
Had watched Miss Congeniality long long back and loved it. Hoped the same of the sequel. Well, it wasn’t as good as the first, but it was good fun.

Couldn’t find a plot outline on IMDB, so will attempt to write my own.
The movie begins with Miss United States and Gracie’s best pal Cheryl Frasier (Heather Burns) and Stan Fields (William Shatner) being kidnapped. Gracie Hart (Bullock), assisted by Sam Fuller (Regina King) goes undercover in Las Vegas to find them.
As Gracie struggles to find them against much opposition, she keeps us well entertained by her comic deeds.
The theatre was empty as the India-Pakistan cricket match was going on. I think people should have left their house, considering that we were royally thrashed in the match.
After the movie we went to Pizza Hut in Lokhandwala. Been there after a long long time.
After lunch we spent sometime at Bandstand after which I dropped her home and went over to Melody‘s house.
She wasn’t at home, but I got her comp in working condition and then spent a good time sitting with her mom fiddling with her (mom) new cellphone.
She got the Sony Ericsoson P910i which is one very very very sexy cell. But, way way way beyond my budget for a few years :O. Read a review by Mobile Phones UK.
Reached home by 9.45pm. Had a good night’s sleep.
Awoke Sunday and continued work on WebberZone.
Watched The Hudsucker Proxy which turned out to be a comedy movie with a very nice underlying storyline.
When Waring Hudsucker, head of hugely successful Hudsucker Industries, commits suicide, his board of directors, led by Sidney Mussberger, comes up with a brilliant plan to make a lot of money: appoint a moron to run the company. When the stock falls low enough, Sidney and friends can buy it up for pennies on the dollar, take over the company, and restore its fortunes. They choose idealistic Norville Barnes, who just started in the mail room. Norville is whacky enough to drive any company to ruin, but soon, tough reporter Amy Archer smells a rat and begins an undercover investigation of Hudsucker Industries.
Went for 6pm mass and after that went with James and Austin to Lom Chings for a small dinner.
It’s sleep time now and a new week tomorrow.
