Archive for October, 2005

Have been experiencing problems with my other blog and so following a suggestion by Michael, I visited #wordpress at irc.freenode.com.
Seems like quite a nice place to get help and maybe provide some.
Gonna be there more often, especially since I’m serious about development for WordPress.
As for the problem, others have been facing the timeouts as [...]

It’s been over two years since I began blogging. My very first post was on October 1, 2003.
Looking back I have come a long way since then. Mainly I’ve learnt a lot, my writings have improved and I’ve become a little more known (I think).
Well, life moves on and I know I shall continue blogging [...]

Began Sunday morning by going for mass. Was confused about whether I will be doing the reading today or next week and in the bargain didn’t do it. Found out that it was infact today!
Anyway, mass was good and went out with Clayton and Azalea for breakfast to Garnish.
Returned home and spend a good part [...]

It’s been over a week since I have been getting this message when I try to login to Gravatar.com

Gravatar.com is Down for Maintenance

But, please note that I do not [...]

I could see that my blog was working and I was even able to validate it as well. Just meant a probable blocking of the site.
On disabling Bad Behavior I found that I [...]

Watched The Grudge recently.
And have posted my review at Humble Reviews.

Watched The Grudge two days back and was stunned at how scary a movie can be made without depicting constant flow of blood (yuck!)!

The Grudge tells the story of an American nurse Karen Davis (Sarah Michelle Gellar) in Japan who substitutes for a nurse who fails to turn up at work at the house of [...]

My traffic rank at Alexa.com seems to be rising steadily. In the last six months this site has jumped by over 2 million ranks and today is in the top 700,000 based on the last three months average.
The last one week average is well under 500,000
Just goes to show that my blog seems [...]

This has been one really jam packed week.
Began the week on Monday by putting one full day of work. Went for choir practice in the evening after a long long time and quickly learnt a new Christmas hymn that they were practicing. A nice one called Sun Gleams Bright, which is an Australian carol.
Tuesday was [...]
