Good news for those who use Falbum for displaying your Flickr Photos on your WordPress Blog and who use Connections Reloaded to power it.
Download falbum-wp.zip and upload falbum-wp.php included in it to the folder you have Connections Reloaded installed, usually /wp-content/olduploads/themes/connections-reloaded/
I don’t run FAlbum myself for now.
But I have plans for a demo blog which I shall install soon. Will have a live demo then.
The file uses code based on this post in Falbum forums.
Download: falbum-wp.zip
And for those who would like do, please do contribute a small amount for my development.
The amount is blank, so you can fill in whatever amount you choose.

Mine is not fully connection reload but i did use some of code from old reload.
I added a falbum there and it’s working like a charm.

OK,
I downloaded and uploaded. Now what? There seem to be no instructions on how to get this to work?

Well prevost, I am assuming you already have FAlbum installed and activated.
Additionally you are using Connections Reloaded.
FAlbum lets you access your Flickr photos at
/gallery/If you don’t use the above file it will break the layout of the theme. Just putting the file in the directory specified above ensures that the page is displayed correctly.

Thanks, I did get FAlbum installed. I also put the falbum_wp file in the location described above. I am using connections reloaded. My album works fine it just doesn’t use the connections theme.

Can you post a URL so I can take a look at it?

I’m so lost. I loaded everything but I guess Fablum is supposed to show up as a choice of page template so I can create a page but it doesn’t.
Where do I begin?

I’m finally getting around to updating my site from a tweaked Connections to Connections-Reloaded. You should’ve seen my face to see how Reloaded broke my existing FAlbum pages. But I found the file you provided on this page and, once I uploaded it, everything works great now. Thank you, Ajay!

Glad to know that it has helped you
Though are you running Connections Reloaded on your blog? Because I didn’t see the footer

Thank you for this fix. I was going nuts trying to fix this myself. And thanks also for Connections Reloaded.

I have yet to get falbum to work with the connections reloaded scheme. It will link to files I upload to my website but the api though it appears to be installed properly will not link to my flicker account. I noticed the addition to connections on the falbum wiki. Should I set falbum up as they instruct and then put the falbum-wp.php in the folder you have recommended here?

Hmm, functionally it seems to work really well, but for some reason it breaks my CSS. I haven’t made many mods to the CSS, but the images from the bottom and the search and meta boxes seem to dissappear, see here: http://jonrouston.co.uk/gallery/
Any ideas? I’m a bit of a CSS newb!
Cheers
