Walk the Line 

In one word - EXCELLENT!!!

Walk the Line tells the life story of music legend Johnny Cash (Joaquin Phoenix) from his early days, to his rise to fame and his relationship with June Carter (Reese Witherspoon), his wife.

I will be honest and say that the only reason I went to watch this movie was because of it’s rating on IMDB and mainly because there wasn’t any other movie running at that time.

I have always loved musicals and rock ‘n’ roll and jive are one of my favorites and so I knew I wouldn’t be let down. Well I got a lot more than I expected.

While the music is simply fabulous, the acting excels. Joaquin is a serious actor and so fits perfect into Cash’s shoes and the gorgeous Reese never fails. The chemistry between the two characters right from the start makes the movie worth watching.

If you are into musicals and/or biographies of people then this is one movie you simply shouldn’t miss :)
