A Bachelor Party

The Occasion: Tommy’s Bachelor Party
The Venue: Dad’s House
The Time: 7.30pm
The Participants: Persons from different ethnic cultures and background

The Story:
I have never been to a bachelor party before nor have been instrumental in organizing any. Neither was I this time But I was there and I enjoyed.

The party was organized to celebrate Tommy’s last few days of freedom as he is getting on 27th.

This was no wild bachelor party as most tend to be… This was a rather sane party with Tommy giving us the story of his life, conversion and bride to be.

This was also a party different from what I attend. Most of my parties have been either family or friends. This one was people I had not met before. We had one family from Jordon, another from South Africa, other guys from India and Tommy is a Manglorean - British mixture.

Topics varied from the Tommy’s life, religion, beliefs, football, athletics and “The Passion of Christ”. The man from Jordon actually understood the language in the movie (not just read through the subtitles).

Pizza from Pizza Hut was the main course, washed down with Mountain Dew and Pepsi.

Wherever I go, pizza follows; and I am not complaining

Had a good sleep, waking up around 10.30am. Am making the most of this vacation. Not sure what the POA for the evening is. Let’s see…
