This is Me!

This is me!

Zooomr is an amazing photo service which in my opinion is a lot better than Flickr.

Zooomr offers bloggers a free Pro account and this post hopes to get me one of those :)

And that is me in the picture up there. It was taken about a year back during my trip to Khandala.

Not really an advertisement. Don’t want to advertise myself ;)

I’ve tried Zooomr many times, but I still like Flickr! better. I don’t really know why, should Zooomr have a zillion more feature, my heart would still go for flickr, maybe because I’ve been using it since the early days.

I guess it is the loyalty factor that makes the difference.

I haven’t yet really explored Flickr. I still find it lacking. Zooomr too has its problems.

I still prefer a hosted solution for photos, and am also evaluating Yahoo! Photos. It looks really promising for family photos.

Yeah me too, I gave up on Flickr just because I don’t have a credit card and don’t know how to pay for the pro account any more. I had one once gifted by a friend.
I use Gallery to host my pictures now.

Good choice. Are you using Gallery or Gallery 2?

Not used Zoomr but recently signedup for Flickr Pro. It is indeed the best photo sharing portal in my view.
I am not sure you can store the original image on Yahoo photos.

Flickr has everything you need, I also had a similar view like you until I explored all the feature of Flickr :)

Flickr Pro definitely has the features. However, Flickr Free is just not worth it!

I still find Flickr lacking because one primary requirement I have is Albums and Subalbums.

I’ve not sure if Yahoo! Photos lets me do SubAlbums, but albums definitely.

I backup my photos seperately and put only 1024x photos online.

I’m using Gallery 2. Sorry for the late reply-back :)
