I’ve had it running for quite a while and forgot to release it.
Anyway, I have released reddit button plugin v1.1.
The plugin works well with WordPress 2.1. It should also work with versions beyond 2.1.
You can add the button via the quicktags or even the Code tab of the WYSIWYG editor.
Would you like to see any thing else in the plugin? Do comment and let me know.

I’d like to suggest you AddThis. It includes some 36 different social bookmarkings, reddit included, and allowes the visitor to choose his default system.
I installed it on my wordpress blog and it works well.

well, this one is designed for one job only. I for one prefer to embed individual buttons for reditt and digg and display the counts for them.

I understand you, I think this choice mainly depends on the blog subject, language and so on.
Choosing to add just some buttons makes your page more light and this widgets are easier-to-find.
