While I know this may irk some users, this is indeed a practice that I have noticed in a lot of plugins. In fact many plugin authors don&#039;t even bother allowing you to turn off their links.

Actually, this became apparent with CRP, since until this version I never included a credit link. Which is also why I put it in the changelog and release post so that people (who read it) are aware of the same.</description>

		<description>I do like this plugin, but having auto-upgraded from within the Wordpress plugin dashboard to the latest version I noticed that the &quot;credit&quot; link is enabled by default...which I think is a little impertinent. You must switch to off by default and then encourage users to enable it otherwise you&#039;re going to lost popularity among bloggers who prefer to have full control over the links on their sites!</description>
