College

At the time of this post, I have been awake for 24 hours, of which almost all of it was spent in the admissions room.

That’s what my MBA Semester 1 GPA reads.
And, due to rules of the university, I cleared my Financial Accounting paper… which means no stars on my transcript!

As part of the Admissions Drive, we, the Admissions Team are organizing a contact programme in Mumbai and twelve other cities.
The event in Mumbai will take place in Ruia College, Matunga.
I sent out the emails two days back and in less than 24 hours we had all the slots in most cities full!
I’ll be leaving [...]

Have I been busy or have I been bored, considering my last post was two months back!
Well, busy is more like it.

As is custom, we had two FCQs today. Spanish was expected as the seating arrangement was put up.

Things are going good, though we should have been complete by now. Ravi joined me in the quest.
Sat for two lectures today after almost two days gap; [...]

Should have posted this a while back, but as usual original posts coming out of a budding MBA student can be rare.
Anyway, I came down to Mumbai on 14th on college work. Our job was to interview an entrepreneur. The problem, he didn’t really have the time. So, this turned out to be a failed [...]

As part of the OSHE program I talked about a few posts back, we had to visit an industry in Pune itself to study the safety measures they have in place.
My batch visited Forbes Marshall in Pune.
The place in around 40 minutes from SCMHRD and the bus ride was noisy (leave a bunch of students [...]

During one of our lectures last week, a lively professor was telling us about his MBA life at IIMA.
When asked about the tests that they followed he, as part of the conversation decribed the experience with five letters, viz. R-A-P-E-D.
We got a taste of that this Saturday.
