Took a closer look at my voting card and realized that it has been a direct translation from Marathi which meant Marathi words spelt out in English. Why can’t they get decent translators???

Anyway, the process was quick and easy. This is the first time I went to vote so everything was new. The voting is electronic and you just got to press a button and leave, after ofcourse signing your name.

Hardly took five minutes and there wasn’t much of a crowd.
Btw, the elections were for the Lok Sabha.

Since, I was in Canossa I decided to pay a visit to Sr. Nellie as well as see the work I did for them.

Am quite pleased to see their wall with the poster I designed for them. The print version could have been better I feel.
Was taken aback when she gave me an envelope for my work. One of my first payments, though this was honorary. Well, Christmas is coming

Going to finally open my books today after lunch. ( blogging and #wordpress are addictive! )

Had choir practice on Monday and A. Anita treated us as it was her birthday last Sunday.

Went out with Anjali on Thursday evening for soup to Lom Chings. I only like the place because of the soup. Not much for their dinner.

This once in a while outings with my pals keeps me uptodate with their lives, though I know my girlfriend isn’t always very pleased that I go out with other girls. Well, she’s a real sweetheart and trust is something our relationship is built on so well… no problems so far

Didn’t go for practice on Friday because I was really very irritated on some situation that had cropped up on Friday. Won’t post about it here because it would be bad publicity for those it concerns.

Saturday was the much awaited weekend as usual. Woke up nice and late.

Had to rush to the bank because of this. Visited my barber for a haircut and shave and after a quick wash rushed off to meet Madam C.

Since there wasn’t any good movie running we just decided to go for lunch at Lucky’s. After a good lunch (yes, her eyes are still bigger than her stomach) we went to Bandstand.

Placed turned out to be rather hot, being mid-afternoon, so we went to Reclamation which has a kindoff subway. Unfortunately, there happened to be some film shooting running there and we weren’t allowed there. And we were too bored to leave by then, so we just hung out along the wall there until nearly 4.15pm.

Left her home early as she was off to Khandala with her choir pals for a picnic.

Went to Melody‘s house after this for a while before heading back home.

Woke up early this Sunday morning to go for 9.30am mass. Dropped Rhea home after mass and then went home. Had a late breakfast and so skipped lunch.

Spent a good deal of the afternoon working on WebberZone as well as the graphics for Canossa.
Went there in the evening. They like my work. Just few modifications.

Few hours left for today. Plan on going to bed early today. Yet another long tiring work week begins tomorrow.

Headed home and burnt a CD to take there. Rhea called and said she was leaving. We were off to watch Fantastic Four at 24 Karat.

We reached well in time for the 2.30pm show and bought their Platinum tickets (balcony). The theatre turned out to be rather good and we even got 100 bucks worth food coupons (abuses about this later).

When an experimental space voyage goes awry, four people are changed by cosmic rays. Reed Richards, inventor and leader of the group gains the ability to stretch his body, and takes the name, Mr. Fantastic. His girlfriend, Sue Storm, gains the ability to turn invisible and create force fields, calling herself the Invisible Woman. Her younger brother Johnny Storm gains the ability to control fire, including covering his own body with flame, becoming the Human Torch. Pilot Ben Grimm is turned into a super-strong rock creature calling himself Thing. Together, they use their unique powers to explore the strange aspects of the world, and to foil the evil plans of Doctor Doom.

The above description is a bit inaccurate, as it wasn’t four but five scientists (including Von Doom) who went off to space to study the cosmic rays (actually some kind of molecular storm) and Von Doom decides to use his powers for evil.

The movie was rather cool. Quite a good amount of humour and excellent special effects. Storm kept us in slipts with his many wise cracks.

Went to Planet Veggie (read my review here) after this and then headed to Pizza Hut in Andheri East.

Ate a good deal there. After this we stopped over at Canossa and I showed the nuns the graphics. Will make a few adjustments by next week.

Well, dropped her home and then headed back home. Work tomorrow as usual.
