Went out on Sunday night to Mezza9. Ate and drank well
After strugging for three days with SAS, we finalized and gave our presentation on Monday.
On Tuesday we had our Financial Statement Analysis re-mid term. I missed the original exam due to the CGN Thought Process Improvement workshop.
Prepared well for it. Can’t afford to risk an important exam in finance.
Today was a relatively lighter day and spent some time blogging. Finished our International Economics report and now have to work on my Supply Chain Modeling assignment due tomorrow.
There is an Mergers and Acquisitions valuation that also needs to be done by weekend along with yet another presentation.
A little more than a week remains before my final exams begin. So much to do, so little time!
The last week has be very crazy. Having worked on our Financial Statement Analysis, we finally submitted the same on October 2. Our presentation was rescheduled for 8th due to the upcoming summer placements.
Spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday cooped up in the vipasana hall working at the helpdesk for the summer placements of the juniors.
I’m not at liberty to discuss this, but I can say that we did a good amount of work, spent a good amount of time doing all kinds of activities and lastly eating and drinking till we burst!
8th was a packed day. Woke up early in the morning to give a 7am final exam of Corporate Governance. I have no clue why we studied that subject!
Next had the FSA presentation to give, immediately followed by a Social Entrepreneurship presentation.
Following the class I had to work on the Software Project Management presentation which we did for yesterday.
Last evening and early this morning went towards the preparation of the Six Sigma event that has been going on today and tomorrow.
The rest of today has been rathe lazy. Have another presentation, this time on SAS scheduled for Monday. We have no clue what to do!
Mentioned the schedule for the week yesterday. There are two major changes. Firstly, the learn by rote Corporate Governance exam has been postponed to the 7th. And, the scarier SAP-BIW exam has been scheduled for Friday
Woke up at 6.45am today to give the Supply Chain Modeling FCQ. The exam started at 7.15am amidst confusion and clarification over the 1st question. This turned out to be the easier and the solvable one for me. I knew the solution for the second one on paper but had absolutely no clue how to convert the solution into Excel
Whichever subject I choose, operations research follows me :’(
This followed by a quick breakfast and then a Social Entrepreneurship class in which we gave a presentation on Ibrahim Abouleish and Sekem.
Have been working on Financial Statement Analysis. Our topic is Jet Airways.
Don’t know when exactly I’m going to hit the bed tonight.
This always happens at the end of the semester and this time is no different. Have an extremely intensive week lined up with tests, presentations and assignment submissions.
Here’s to give you an idea about the same:
30th September – Supply Chain Modeling FCQ & Social Entrepreneurship presentation
1st October – Corporate Governance Final Exam
2nd October – Financial Statement Analysis Project Submissions
3rd October – Software Project Management and Financial Statement Analysis presentations
4th October – Mergers and Acquisitions submission
5th October – Supply Chain Modeling assignment submission
All this calls for a lot of sleepless nights and worse
