Ajay - On the Road called Life

Those who have been reading the comments out here (not to mention the posts), would have known that I was in Pune this weekend for the SCMHRD Group Discussions and Personal Interview.
This is only my second trip to Pune, with the first one not being a pleasurable experience.

I’m leaving within the next hour for Pune for the SCMHRD Group Discussion and Personal Interview. I’ve booked a Volvo which should take right upto Hinjewadi, where I already have a reservation.
Staying there is going to cost me a bomb, so I really hope things work out.

Have been meaning to make a post this whole week but sometimes, life just won’t let you blog!
So finally here I am making a post before I forget everything
I did finish reading Robert Ludlum’s The Lazarus Vendetta.
The book was really amazing!

I’m so tied down with things it’s surprising how a person sitting at home all day long can be so busy!
Last Friday, I made it for choir practice after a while. Saturday was James‘ brother’s wedding. The nuptials were at our church, while the reception was at St. Andrew’s, Bandra.

I’ve had a majority of bad papers so far, except for the XAT which was decent. Still awaiting calls if any.
Today I give the entrance exam for FMS, Delhi from 3pm to 5pm. The center is the same viz. St. Xavier’s College.

Well, it should be…. I got the XAT Result today. Not top the charts and no call from XLRI. But, this was expected.
But, I got a 96.47%tile which has instilled some hope of getting calls from XIM, Bhubaneshwar and SPJIMR.

The last few days have been rather hectic. Really slogged quite a bit for my XAT paper that was yesterday. The only break I did take was to go for two wedding masses in church on Saturday.

Guess I’m getting consistent with this. Just got the NMAT results and though I hoped differently, I didn’t qualify. My score also happens to be really pathetic which is something I didn’t expect!
Well, so be it. Guess, this wasn’t meant to be. XAT on Sunday and SNAP results on Monday. I hope both are favorable.

It was inevitable. My results and their servers crashing.
I was able to get my result after a few hours of trying and several refreshes. Anyway managed a measely 82.94 which is less than my last two attempts when I hadn’t studied :((

I’ve been having a string of disastrous papers with the CAT and NMAT not going as I desired.
Today I gave the SNAP, which is the exam for SIBM and other institutes. My center was IES School in Kherwadi, Bandra.
