My last post was in Mumbai. And here I am back again posting from my home city.

Returned to Pune after Diwali vacation on 30th itself to make sure that we study for the Corporate Finance and Software Project Management exams on 1st. Well, study we did, but managed to mess up SPM

The rest of the week passed by with some good, some bad and some really really ugly papers. Well, January 3rd is the tentative date for the results.

Had originally planned on leaving for Mumbai on 10th itself. However, I had to attend a student interaction session by the NAAC team. Symbiosis International University is currently being accredited by NAAC.

Namrata and me set out for Mumbai by the 7.15am bus. The driver refused to take it through Parihar Chowk and insisted on taking the bypass route. The drivers can be really frustrating at times.

The MSRTC bus turned out to be full, which is rather suprising for a Tuesday morning. Anyway, got into the Neeta bus which got to Mumbair rather fast. Ended up watching Tashan on the bus. I really wonder how they allow some Bollywood movies to be made!

Got down at Santa Cruz and picked up my bike from Jana who studies in NMIMS. The bike runs well, but as usual I plan on getting it serviced tomorrow. Have a lot of riding to do this week.

Not sure when I’m heading back to Pune. I’ve got to start studying for my upcoming placements.

The last ten days have seen four FCQs and the results of my Micro Economics FCQ. Got a 7 on 10 which was so surprising that I rechecked my results.
As for the new FCQs, we got Research Methodology hit us like a bag of bricks. Passing is now questionable. The others shouldn’t be a problem I guess. Am also waiting for my Spanish results, this should come in tomorrow.

Lectures were normal, actually, they were a lot more hectic than before with even more hours. OSHE (Occupational Safety, Health and Environment) lectures are a pain, infact its eight hours of weekly crap.

But, didn’t we ask for a “holistic development”?

Haven’t been keeping too good this last week, with cold troubling me, possibly due to less sleep and not so great eating habits (??). However, still went out last night with seven others to celebrate Sneha having graduated. The place is a popular “hangout” of many SCMHRD students. Food was good, sunk my teeth into good juicy chicken after a long time.

They provide drops to and from the college as well … doesn’t take rocket science to figure out why, now does it?

We also have Freshers coming up on 2nd of August and as part of the process, the juniors ask the seniors out. Got Clinton to find me someone and he did just that. Now, we shall wait for the 2nd to see exactly what happens.

And, as is become my custom style of ending my posts… until next time.

It’s been almost a month since my last post. And it just goes to show how tied up MBA life has kept me. Based on feedback from seniors this is going to be the case for atleast another two or so months.

A lot has happened since then, and I’ll just be summarizing a few of the main events in this post.

To begin with, we had our foundation course exams. Principles of Management is a sure flunk, and that’s the case of most of the batch.

My maths paper ended up with hundreds of silly mistakes and clearing this seems to be a bleak possibility.

The financial accounting paper was an objective one of which we got the results the same day. Passed!

The other papers seems to be a case of pass as of now, so lets see how that goes. Results are out any of these days.

Just got my results for the Maharastra MBA CET 2006.

Got a pathetic 118/200 score and a 95.13 percentile. There goes my hopes for any good MBA institute (
