Finished off my FSA paper on 23rd and awoke early Saturday morning for some last minute preparations for the SAP-BIW paper.

This turned out to be a very comfortable paper to write in 90 minutes. Had a quick breakfast and got down to packing for my journey to Mumbai. I love travelling light and infact that is what I did. Picked up my laptop and a few essentials and caught an extremely crowded 11.15am bus from college to Aundh.

Was fortunate enough to get a Metrolink volvo to Dadar immediately. Ticket prices were hiked considering that everyone is rushing to Mumbai for their Diwali vacations.

The bus was quick and we got little traffic on the way back and was at Sion in about three hours. Caught a rick from there to Bandra to my Grandma’s place. Had plans to meet Lil white mouse in the evening.

Met up with Lil white mouse and her sis and went to 5 Spice in Bandra. The prices have been jacked up there as well and it’s definitely more expensive than the one in town. We did eat and drink well, paid well and got back home. Was so zonked that I crashed almost immediately.

Awoke early morning (well not that early) to go for mass at 10am. Mass has become a lot shorter with shorter sermons

Lil white mouse came over for lunch and spent the rest of the day with me before she had to leave for a wedding reception.

The next few days are packed well. I really hope to get some studies done, but vacation can be a real big hurdle to cross when you want to study!

Have plans to go to Big Bazaar tomorrow to shop for anything I can lay my hands on. Got to redeem my Rs. 1400 in gift vouchers. So, what should I buy?

Sunday so far hasn’t been a very enjoyable Sunday

For one I had a very disturbed sleep and I probably know the reason why.

As a result I was rather groggy early morning as I rushed for the 8.30am mass.

George Burns once said:

The secret of a good sermon is to have a good beginning and a good ending, and to have the two as close together as possible.

Unfortunately, our priests haven’t learnt this yet.

Had yet another AIMCAT today and yet again my DI went down under!
I really need to figure out how to maximize all three sections and time is running out!

Had two masses today viz. in the morning was the regular 9.30am mass. Picked up bread on the way home to have bread and eggs.
Well it turned out to be brunch and I had to skip lunch as a result.

Spent the rest of the day working on my WordPress Theme after which I got ready for the wedding mass we were singing for at Atma Darshan.

The mass started really late and got over even later. Was backed with a very powerful homily by the lead Celebrant, a Fr. Angelus Anthony. He preached on making the C.R.O.S.S. the center of your marriage. I can’t remember the O part of the acronymn but the rest is below…

After mass we went off to McDonalds at The Hub in Jogeshwari.

Well the place was really crowded and I guess it really needs to get better organized, especially the parking!

Anyway, Anjali wanted to come with me on the return journey (Amita has insisted on coming with me on our trip there). I decided to go take a look at the Hub to see how much it has developed since the last time I was here.
Well, it’s improved quite a bit, though it still has a long way to go.

Walked into Vijay Sales for the heck of it and walked out with a LG HealthGuard vacuum cleaner :O
Got quite a great deal and a Reebok bag (if it is original )

Got back home, assembled it and got down to cleaning the sofas, chairs and my computer. Will work on the rest this week before my folks get back.

It’s back to work tomorrow. This time no holidays during the week
