I had signed up for W3 Compliant Sites a long time ago.

W3 Compliant Sites is a website to promote web sites that are designed to comply to the web standards.

I have long believed in designing my websites using compliant code and so immediately got about adding MegaThemes and this blog to the list.

Will ofcourse add other as and when.

The reason I am posting here is because I found myself to be the top referrer to W3 Compliant Sites in the last two months.
I have referred more than twice the number of visitors to the same than any other site in the past few months.

Spent whole of Saturday moving my website around my different hosting accounts.

Firstly, I moved this blog AjayDSouza.com to my Netbunch account and moved my Gallery AjayDSouza.info under my reseller account at ASHosted.

Lastly, I moved My Sherlock Holmes Pages to my Staff account of Complete-Free-Host, where I am the forum admin.

Additionally, My Sherlock Holmes Pages has been rechristianed to The Complete Works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and has a new web address. That ofcourse means that I once again have to start from scratch to get my Page Rank and popularity up
It also means that I have a lot of work coming up including a major redesign.

As of now all the sites are online. I apologize to users trying to get my plugins and themes for the temporary downtime during the shift.

Finally! After many many months, I have updated my site MegaThemes.

A brand new look with a slightly different shade of blue. I scrapped many unused scripts like the newsletter and the forum. I added a tell-a-friend.

A major addition has been a wallpaper on “The Passion of the Christ“. You can get it from here.

I have also revamped the Freeware Archive. Changed to an easier to use but very good PaFileDB. Now the major work that remains is adding the programs to the archive, which I don’t think I will be doing for a few months at least! :-S

Like I mentioned below, I was pulled out of bed at 10.30 am on this beautiful 1st morning. 10.30 am wouldnt be so much of a problem, but after a tiring New Year, it was a bit too early.
My dad told me that some professor was calling. I picked up the phone (half asleep as I did it) to find Dayanand Ambavade sir at the other end of it. He informed me that I was on the list to design the college website and if it was possible to reach by 11! I said 11.15 and so got ready quickly and rushed off to college.

In college I found Sumit, Kuldeep and Joseph (Parag will be joining us soon) of BE IT, who will be designing the website with me. I have already worked with them during SPACE 2003 and it is gonna be fun working with them.

Dayanand sir and Deven Shah sir introduced us to a teacher in SP Jain, who also happens to be SPCE alumni, viz. KT Upadhay (hope I got the spelling right). He is well informed and very knowledgeble in this field.

Now I got to sit and get the front end ready. Will be just picking up the look from the current site, as they want it. We all have to learn ASP however, as that will be needed for hosting this site.

This is indeed a great oppurtunity to improve my skill base and my resume. God bless me and my friends in this endeavour.
