But, what if they come back and haunt you? What if…

On the eve of his brother’s wedding, three of his girlfriends come back to haunt him, as does his favorite uncle Wayne (Michael Douglas). They take him through his past, his present and his future and he can view this in a totally different perspective.

The movie is rather standard. The story line isn’t spectacular and the acting is decent. Matthew does a good job at playing Connor Mead and as does Jennifer Garner, who plays Jenny, his love interest. They have picked up a good set of really good looking actresses including the really cute Camille Guaty, who has played Piper in the now extinct TV series Las Vegas.

Overall, this is a good one time watch as is the case with many romantic comedies. Will give is a generous 6/10.

Marise’s friend Priyanka’s marriage was on the 15th and as part of our custom, both the bride and the groom have an individual roce which is a traditional function.

The roce was held on her building terrace in Kurla, which required me to ride in terrible traffic out there. Got there very early in spite of this.

Early did mean that I had to wait for a while before the function actually started… an hour later.

The usual dirtying of the bride-to-be took place followed by dancing. We left the place and I dropped Marise home.

The next day was rather silent. Saturday was the big day of the wedding. Being free in the morning, I decided to head over to Big Bazaar, this time in Mulund. My last two experiences were rather bad. However, since I had Rs. 1,400 in discount coupons, I had to go make and expense. Picked up a black sweather that shall hopefuly assist me this winter. I spent last winter borrowing jackets from Ravi.

Also picked up a salwar piece for Mom, who celebrated her birthday on Sunday.

Saturday evening was the wedding. The reception was held at St. Josephs in Bandra. Marise’s sister and dad were trigger happy and I was able to collect quite a few images.

Stayed over at my grandma’s that evening and convinced her to come back with me on the bike. That would have made an excellent photo

Sunday was Mom’s birthday. Just a quiet lunch to which Marise came over. She left in the evening.

Spent Monday visiting banks and my barber in the morning and the rest of the day at home.

Caught the first bus from Mumbai to Pune on Tuesday morning and reach here by 10am itself.

Classes began yesterday with a full four hour class from 6.30pm on Advances in Supply Chain, followed by Strategic Marketing and Advances in Supply Chain lectures today. Thus ends the lectures for this week.

Placements is just around the corner and well I kinda tensed. A well kept secret atleast on the blog was my Preplacement Offer from the company I was in for summers, which I rejected last week since it wasn’t up to my expectations. The scene is bad this year, so my fingers are crossed.

Last Friday, I made it for choir practice after a while. Saturday was James‘ brother’s wedding. The nuptials were at our church, while the reception was at St. Andrew’s, Bandra.

Danced a decent amount. I still wonder about my two left feet two years back!

Music has to be shut off at 10.00pm as the wedding was in open air and it’s really sad that you have to do so after spending so much money.

Was home before 11pm as a result, which was good considering the big FMS exam was on Sunday. Center was St. Xavier’s as usual. And as usual the exam isn’t worth talking about
Will await the result patiently.

Went for choir practice on Monday as well. But in the morning I went to give the Mock CET at TIME, which I had missed on Sunday. The paper went well, results not out yet. I’m really hoping the CET goes great.
I also paid a visit to Wellingkar’s to enquire about their MBA courses.

Tuesday was spent at Melody’s place working on the upcoming redesign of WebberZone. Still a lot of work remains.

Spend a good portion of yesterday afternoon reading Robert Ludlum’s The Lazarus Vendetta. Still haven’t complete it, but highly recommended read.

Today was a busy day as well with me paying a visit to one of my clients and then meeting my grandmother.

The week so far has been rather exhausting. I don’t see it easing up though.

The only idea I’ve had about Hindu marriage procedures is the little that I have seen on Bollywood. I haven’t been to that many Hindu weddings, though I definitely have seen more of those than Catholic ones in the last year or two!

Unfortunately, nothing has changed. I still know the same as I did earlier!

Nikhil’s sister had the Sangeet last Saturday, two days before the wedding on Monday.

The wedding and the reception were held at Crystal Springs in Bandra. I haven’t been there before and have heard mixed reviews of the place. Though, seeing the size of it I really wonder how Catholics have their receptions there, because if you have anything more than a 100 folks and the place will get crowded. Hey, we do dance a lot out there

Anyway, reached there only post 9pm, much against the original plan. On the way there I realized that I wasn’t carrying my house keys (though now I’m not so sure that was the case) and so I just rushed back home around 10.30pm to ensure that I wasn’t locked out

No pictures unfortunately. The short stay there coupled with eating ( ) and gift-giving left time for little.

The reception was held at Hotel Royal Garden in Juhu, which turned out to be a nice hotel. Had to be knowing Nikhil’s folks…

I thought I would be late but guess 9pm wasn’t late enough. Folks I knew soon started tripping in after that so I had my company.

Got a picture of the bride and groom to be. Did I mention that having an N73 is very handy?

The highlight of the evening was a small dance performance that Nikhil participated in. If I had known this I would have come prepared with my handy cam…. Well as I promised Nikhil here is one picture of it.

Ate a great deal courtesy one waiter who missed us once and over fed us after that. He even ensured that Cloreisha got a glass of juice to wash down her caramel custard

Overall had a great time. Got home only post 12am. My legs aren’t sore because I didn’t dance too much. Wedding tomorrow…

So I’m gonna make a post while I have the chance to do so.

I ended the week before Christmas with a wedding mass that we were singing for. As usual, we trooped out to eat after the mass. We chose Domino’s because of its proximity. My opinion that Domino’s is not an eatin was re-enforced.

The service was pathetic, they took a great deal of time to serve us (their thirty minute guarantee should apply to those eating in as well!)

I didn’t go for the Christmas midnight mass, as I prefer the morning masses. Did the second reading as well.

We made last minute plans to go for the Christmas Dance at Bandra Gym.
Picked up The Mouse from her place and then the ticket from a friend of hers. Stopped at Pot Pourii in Bandra for some dinner. I guess that either I don’t know what to eat at the place or the food just sucks there!

We reached the gym before 9pm and jived a good deal until 11.30pm with a small break in the middle.

With a little food in our bellies we resumed dancing until they moved the music inside and started playing stuff I hate dancing on.
By 3.30am we were totally bored and decided to just leave instead of waiting for the slow music to start.
Slept a good portion of 26th which is expected when you don’t sleep most of the night

Had choir practice on 26th evening to practice for yet another wedding mass on the 28th at Dominic Savio. Couples really need to prepare for their masses!

27th was the day of the grand Blogger Christmas party organized by Ms. Voice in Her Head.

I reached there in the afternoon itself to help her to get things in order (little wonder I never throw parties).
Her Mom is a real sweetheart and without her I am sure the party wouldn’t have come close to being as good as it was, especially the food aspect.

It felt a little weird as a few there, Melody and Sakshi in particular, referred to me as India’s No. 1 Resident blogger. It’s nice to have that title, but I definitely am not that. And more importantly, I never set my sights only on India
Not being too much of the extrovert I chose to keep to myself and the mouse for a better part of the evening.

Today was an unfruitful day in college. However I did get my HDFC account closed, printouts of the transcripts and gave my bike for servicing, which means that I am without wheels for a day.

The weekend ahead is going to be with the books, with two mocks and classes as well.

Amidst family and friends at St. Anne’s, Pali, Elvis married his perfect wife Delilah!

The reception followed at Juhu Hotel.

I ate, I danced and I made merry

My Dad is down for a few days on office work so that has been a short break yesterday. Got myself busy playing with his iPod Nano (did I tell you I have the 30Gb??). Found an interesting software that does most of the dirty work for you and its a lot smaller than iTunes. Review expected next Saturday on Techtites.

Was awoken early by my Mom, so you must realize that I am extremely sleepy!

Anyway, was singing for a wedding mass in church today. Landed up being the only bass, which has become kinda regular. Reminds of a few years back when I used to sing bass all by myself. Am I good or am I good

As usual we trooped off to eat after the wedding mass. Venue was once again McDonalds at the Hub.

Had a good McChicken Combo Meal =P~ and then came home at had kababs, sausages and chicken =P~

And tomorrow (or at the time of this post – today) is the SNAP, which is the entrance exam for SIBM and other institutes.
Seeing my recent performance, I really need to pull my socks up!

Was the only bass at mass today which was held in Atma Darshan’s chapel, which is a small nice place.

Mass was good and so was the singing. Missed the last as I rushed for the registry books. But, we managed

We went over to Shoppers’ Stop in Andheri W to pick up something.

After a good deal of searching we finally picked up something small. Dropped her at Andheri station and then headed home.

Had the AIMCAT today as well. My last one was disastrous and today wasn’t much of an improvement. Something is going wrong, and I can’t figure out what

We were singing for a wedding mass. The church was also celebrating Family Day and so mass turned out to be extremely long!
Today also happened to be a rainy day. Am feeling bad for the couple.

And tomorrow is a holiday (well for me everyday is a holiday)
