Moderation Author Notify

Overview:

WordPress doesn’t automatically notify the author of a post about waiting comments. Instead all comment moderation requests go to the admin.

This plugin will notify the author of the post in addition to the admin. This will allow the author to moderate the comments too.

Features:

• Enable / disable moderation from WP-Admin
• Doesn’t send a duplicate email to admins

Requirements:

• WordPress 2.0 or above

Installing

1. Download Moderation Author Notify.
2. Extract the contents of moderation-author-notify.zip to wp-content/plugins/ folder. You should get a folder called moderation-author-notify.
3. Activate the Plugin in WP-Admin.
4. Goto Options > Notify Author to configure.

Options:

Currently there are two options available. One is enable / disable sending the email. The other is to enable / disable a link to this plugin page in the email.

By default, both options are enabled.
