The end of the week, end of the induction program and the end of our rotation. One as usual, one expected and one not-so-expected.
Finally at long last our induction program drew to an end on Wednesday. After the program we were informed that due to work pressures, we can no longer continue our induction program, but we will be placed into our departments immediately. We were asked to submit our three preferences by Thursday morning.
So, my Wednesday evening and night and Thursday morning, was much spent on which department to choose. After wavering between Marketing and Design as my options, I finally filled in Design, Marketing and Projects as my three options.
We were supposed to have been informed of the department by the evening, but it was postponed to Monday.
Had a puja in office because of Dassera in the evening. Did quite a bit of work as well on Thursday. In case my department changes from Design, I will atleast have the satisfaction of having left the place with something accomplished and lots learned.
Going to spend the day today cleaning up where I left off on Sunday. Nearly half of my CD collection remains to be sorted out, and hopefully I will be done by this evening.
Saturday we have a meeting with the head of our SBU, so will have to go to work 🙁
