Bridget Jones – The Edge of Reason

Went off to watch Bridget Jones – The Edge of Reason with Melody at Regal for the 10 pm show.

Bridget Jones - The Edge of Reason

Was at her place earlier in the evening and her family gave me a really amazing Christmas gift, viz. a formal jacket. Gonna look really good this Christmas. All I need now is to get a black pant stitched next week.

We set off for Regal by 7.45am and reached there safe and sound. Made a quick stopover at McDonald’s for burgers and fries and went back to Regal to buy the tickets. We were lucky to get the top most row 🙂

Have watched Bridget Jones’ Diary quite a while back and I must say, it wasn’t really one of my favorite films. Besides I don’t really like Renee Zellweger.

However, BJ-TEoR turned out to be a lot better movie. Was very hilarious. The gist from IMDB:

Though Bridget is happily ensconced in the arms of the lovely Mark Darcy her petty jealousies are starting to get the best of her, and their relationship. Chief among these is her suspicions about Mark’s long-legged intern, who, on top of being gorgeous, has a knack for doing everything right. To make matters worse Bridget’s old fling, and former boss, Daniel Cleaver, arrives on the scene.

As usual, Hugh Grant acting is amazing. He plays the role of the playboy to perfection.
Movie has many funny quotes and quite a few hilarious scenes, that kept me laughing during the entire movie.

The ride back home was fun. Thankfully, it wasn’t cold (of course I did have my sweater and windsheeter on ;))
Dropped off Melody and was home by 1.30am.
