    Six Years of Song!

Anniversaries always skip my mind! On 23rd I completed six years in my choir. Well, it sure has been a long long time. I never ever expected me to ever end up singing. But, it has been an enjoyable journey, which I plan on continuing as long as I can! 🙂

This Past Week in Ajay’s Life

It sure has been a while since I visited Pizza Hut, but it was a welcome change when I visited it on Thursday. They have introduced a new range of pizzas which is not yet displayed online. Well, they didn’t turn out to be extraordinary, and definitely didn’t look like the pictures on the menu :O Advertising 😛 Mass was good and so was our singing. U. Conrad asked me to sing the response. Hey! I’m not a solo singer! But, I can definitely “say” the responses 😉 Sunday was the AIMCAT as usual. This time it wasn’t as good as I hoped. Ran out of time for Maths.…

    Events of this Weekend

Some of what I planned this weekend didn’t happen. Began this weekend by not going for choir practice on Friday (Had originally intended to go). Saturday was off to the doctor for my Dad‘s work and then we went to Better Homes in Andheri E to look for a sofa cum bed.

    The Week So Far

This past week has been rather tiring and in some ways busy. That has been pretty much the case since Dad came down 🙂 Madam A came over on Monday morning for a bit of CAT studing, while in the evening I had to go for choir practice. We have been learning a few new hymns and the different parts for some old ones. Tuesday was uneventful, but Wednesday made up for it.

    More Chauffeuring

So began Saturday, like any other day. Dad and I set off towards Mahin at a clinic there. Reached there well on time, waited a while, finished the tests and set off towards my grandmom‘s place. Just as we reached St. Michael’s Church signal, the skies opened up and let down their blessing!

    Psalm 23

A mom was concerned about her kindergarten son walking to school. He didn’t want his mother to walk with him. She wanted to give him the feeling that he had some independence but yet know that he was safe. So she had an idea of how to handle it. She asked a neighbour, Mrs. Goodnest, if she would please follow him to school in the mornings, staying at a distance, so he probably wouldn’t notice her. Mrs. Goodnest said that since she was up early with her toddler anyway, it would be a good way for them to get some exercise as well, so she agreed. The next school day,…

    @ the Church

Went for mass yesterday at Ghala Church. I still have to get used to weekends being on Thursday and Friday and not our traditional Saturday-Sunday. Saturday-Sunday seems so much weekendlike! Anyway, Ghala church has been the place we have gone to for years and it is still the same as it was. Mass was good, though we did reach a bit late. And everytime I listen to the choirs here, it makes me realize that we still need a lot of practice. Photos taken, but they will all go online once I return to Mumbai. Awoke rather early today on vacation standards, viz. 8.45am :O Dad goes for the fellowship…

    And then God created Man

One day, God created the dog and said, “Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years.” The dog said, “That’s a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I’ll give you back the other ten?” So God agreed. On the next day, God created the monkey and said, “Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I’ll give you a twenty-year life span.” The monkey said, “Monkey tricks for twenty years? That’s a pretty long time to perform. How about I…

Long week went by, another ahead

Monday to Sunday has been a long week. Monday began with me rushing home after work to make it in time for choir practice. We were singing for Maundy Thursday and needed the practice. Tuesday was the C&A Annual Party in celebration of us reaching (if not crossing) our sales target. This time it was held at The Residency in Powai. Gorged on the amazing food there. My size definitely doesn’t show my ability to eat 😀 And so was the desert … 😀 The party went on till past 10.30pm and we had to get back to work the next day on time!
