Had made this for Clifford Lee and have decided to release it to everyone since it has been highly requested. You can now download the header for Connections Reloaded in .psd. You will need Photoshop to open the .psd file. The .psd contains three layers, viz. Connections Revolutions in the Making
It’s been three months since I posted the Connections Reloaded 2 Roadmap and I must confess that I haven’t done much development on it since there. I guess you won’t really blame me because my day job has kept me so busy that I have had little personal life but for a few occasions. Additionally the impetus to devote additional time for developing hasn’t been really strong. I have been doing a lot of thinking behind the scenes. Connections Reloaded crosses 2000 downloads!
Just two months after Connections Reloaded crossed 1000 downloads, it has crossed the 2000 download mark, i.e. around 500 downloads a month 🙂 I’m shocked, pleased and extremely excited. Not to mention also charged up to work harder on the next version of Connections Reloaded. Thanks once again to the users of my team, and many more thanks to those who have donated. WordPress 2.0 has been released today. As far as I am aware, Connections Reloaded functions perfectly on WordPress 2.0 as can be observed on my Demo Blog. However, if you find any problems please do comment here.

Connections Reloaded 1.2.2 is now out. It comes with a few fixes and changes as follows: Fixed a bug that caused comments on password protected posts to remain hidden even after entering the password. File modified: comments.php Replaced Google Reader with Add to Google button under Subscriptions. File Modified: sidebar.php Removed code of a plugin from index.php. It wouldn’t cause your site to break, but it wasn’t required. Removed all target="_blank" attributes from the code files. Footer text modified. WordPress Theme Toolkit for Connections Reloaded??
I have been pondering over adding an admin menu to Connections Reloaded for quite a while now. Stumbled upon WordPress Theme Toolkit today, and it seems really cool to add to the theme. Will probably save a lot of my time to use it as opposed to designing from scratch. Will see how this works out.
Connections Reloaded 2.0 Roadmap
Have been meaning to post a roadmap for Connections Reloaded 2.0 for a while so here it is: For those unaware, Connections Reloaded is my theme for WordPress 1.5.x onwards. Connections Reloaded has come a long way from when I decided to shift from Spirit to Connections and I found Connections fabulous looking but wanting with respect to functionality. Then came a slow but steady learning of how to design WordPress themes. I released Connections Reloaded on 16 June 2005 and it has crossed 1000 downloads (tracked from 4th July 2005). It currently stands on v1.2.1.
