Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Decided to finally catch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire takes us deeper into the characters’ minds and the darkness of the Wizarding World. At the Quidditch World Cup, Voldemort’s followers gather and wreak havoc. Then, at Hogwarts, a legendary event takes place. The Triwizard Tournament! The Goblet of Fire judges who gets in and who doesn’t. On the fateful night, three champions are selected. But then the Goblet spits out one other. Harry’s. These two major events point to the return of Lord Voldemort. Dumbledore and the other teachers sense it, but it is inevitable. And Harry is no longer safe at Hogwarts. This fourth installment is the most dramatic, and also the scariest. Let me just say that all does not necessarily end well…

The movie was moderate. I will confess that unlike the rest of the world I’m not a real fan of Harry Potter and the only reason I ended up watching the movie was because I already watched the past three. However, doing justice to the movie, I’ll try my best to make an honest review.

I’ve always wondered on the lack of connection between the movies and this too started on a similar note.

The sound was good and so were the special effects. The movie was long but entertaining!

It did have a few humourous parts to it like Harry fumbling to ask a girl out for the ball, many scary moments like the Death Eaters at the start and the contest of the maze.

Worth watching just once, unless you are a crazy die hard Harry Potter fan.

  1. Goblet of fire was an awesome movie imo. I’m really looking forward to the next HP movie this summer. But I’m super excited about Prince Caspian! I’m off to go see it tomorrow with my gf. Are you going to see it?
