This is rather quick on the heels of the previous version, however, this version will greatly improve the performance of WP Ajax Edit Comments on your blog. This releases includes fixes that speed up the display and reduce the number of queries to the WordPress database.
You’ll notice a major performance increase especially on pages with a huge number of comments. I still recommend using a caching plugin like WP Super Cache on your blog because it greatly helps reduce the load on your server.
A big thanks to Johan Eenfeldt and cimddwc (Thanks Michael for the link) for providing the fixes that made this release possible.
As usual, you can download the plugin from its page. Current users will be able to upgrade seamlessly from within WP-Admin itself.
Are you interested in becoming a tester for the plugin? Do let me know.
here, a post about the new version of your plugin:
\”le blog de Lise\” is a famous blog in France about wordpress, linux, apple computer, iphone and softwares with gnu license
Thanks for the post Jean 🙂
I definitely noticed a performance increase with the updated version of the aforementioned plugin. I just wish someone would develop a non-AJAX version for those who miss Edit Comments XT, even if that means sacrificing some of the functionality.
