16th August. Considered to be a very important day in my life, my birthday.
This year, it was spent at work. Woke up usual time and went off to work. Was wished by quite a few of my colleagues at breakfast.
We returned back to find that we are locked out of our Design Lab, as there was some problem with the lock. Till a lot of timepass for nearly and hour, before they finally got the door open. Still more timepass after that, as I roamed all over the department distributing Eclairs.
Got straight back to work and completed the Structures document over the course of the day.
The return journey home was wet as it started pouring. Nikhil cursed me for predicting the rains. And I cursed me for the same, as I had on my leather shoes and a beige pant!
Gave the much expect samosa treat at our usual samosa guy at IIT Powai, besides distributing one whole packet of eclairs in the bus itself. Do those people have a sweet tooth:O
Had to meet up with Rhea for dinner at Ganesh, so I got off at Regency. Luckily we got an auto, but since I had to get off and go past Guru Nanak Petrol pump on foot. My shoes and socks were completely soaked as I had to go through a good amount of water. The pathetic work by the BMC this year has promised us flooded, muddy and horrible condition roadsX(
Dropped her home after dinner. Was too exhausted to even update my blog and so I just crashed into bed…
